Clever Video

Is it possible to like these guys just because of the idea of this video? Because I do.

I caught part of this show about how they made this video. They weren't getting attention from their record label, so they made this video. The record label didn't promote the video, either, so they posted it themselves on YouTube. And there you have it. Marketing on YouTube. Who would have guessed it.

Funny I hadn't seen the video, but I've heard the song. They said 53 weeks after they released it as a single, it finally made it to #1 on the charts. Which brings up the idea... are the charts going to be as outdated as calling them "records" someday?

Since I cannot see YouTube content at work, I presume from your tags that this is the treadmill video. #1, I cannot believe you haven't seen it before now! #2, I heard on the radio that at their concert in Chicago, they are having winners of a local Guitar Hero III contest battle it out live on stage. I thought that was funny, too.

Well, we have to remember that J is one of those people who doesn't have cable, P. She only watches things on NBC, CBS and ABC (and sometimes Fox when the reception is good).

It's ok, J. I mean, I laughed at your being WAY behind the times to myself, but you DID mock P's funny (but confusing, at first) post. Touche; now you've both pointed out the other's flaws. The blog must move on.

This blog is real life, people. We're real people writing real things. Sometimes it ain't pretty. That's how we roll.
