New great room colors

I was home the last two days (off after 8 straight days of hell at work) and wanted to do something around the house. So it took me two days but I painted our great room and hallway - the bulk of the painting that needed to be done in our condo. Before it was a "sage" (more like mint) green with a dark green accent color. It looked like something your grandma would choose. So we chose antique copper, basketry and chocolate swirl. Ehh?

(By the way if you click on the picture you will see it enlarged)

Kudos to P for painting all that. Lord knows I would have been complaining up a storm, had I helped.

Note to P -- for future reference, you might pick up all the recycling on the counters and fold the blankets before taking any more pictures :)

Love it! Those are some of my favorite paint colors. They make a room so warm and inviting.

Also, a general comment -- I've been so busy at work I haven't checked the blog for a month. Y'all have been busy in that time. Good work providing fodder for me to procrastinate with!

I KNOW! (well, P&D, not so much J)

FYI--I added our regular commentors and the McDowell sisters to our auto-notice so you'll get emails everytime there's a post or comment. Let me know if it gets annoying and I'll take you off!

Another also -- something seems to be wrong with the formatting on this post. The blog emailed me about follow-up comments both before I even commented, AND without me requesting that it email me comments. FYI.

Oh, that explains it. Jenn, it's annoying and I'd like you to take me off of it. No offense!

What? You don't want your email filling up with PD&J posts?

No problem!! (It's probably a better system for less regular blog followers)

L - Not sure if you can tell from the picture, but Carmen still has the magnet hair mustache, and Mom and Dad still have the other magnet additions to their photo. Nothing beats Dad with an afro.
