Remember that time I made bagels?

That's right, I MADE bagels. Turns out the recipe is super simple. All you have to google is "how to make bagels from scratch". I used this recipe, except I used olive oil (instead of vegetable oil) and added rosemary to the dough. It was seriously one of the most time consuming projects ever. But, it was fun because (1) Jenn was here, so we just shot the shit while I made them and (2) we had nothing else going on that morning. It was the morning after my big party, but more on that in another post. But you've seen the video sooooo...

Here are some pictures of my bagels.

They were DELICIOUS! Honestly, they were the best bagels I have ever had. Store bagels are really chewy on the outside, which is nice, but I don't think my jaw should be sore halfway through. Then, they tend to be chewy inside, too. David's were slightly chewy on the outside, but tender on the inside. And the flavor was superb! I highly recommend the next time you're in Chicago, you all request he make them for you!
