Leap Year Day

Is that today's official title? I went to Einstein's this morning and the guy who took my order told me if I said "Happy Leap Year Day" to the cashier, my coffee would cost $.29. Thrifty as I am, I DID and SAVED $1.30!!! So, I encourage all of our readership to ask about "Leap Year Day" specials today. The money you save today could last another 4 years!!*

In my humble opinion, people are too willing to wish happiness on people for no reason at all. Take "Leap Year Day", for example. Why should this make me happy? I still have to work, and what is the purpose of being HAPPY about ANOTHER day of winter? If you'd like me to be happy, please pay me money, buy me something, and/or stop talking to me.

Well, I was happy about the coffee deal. But I agree with you. What raises my hackles is "Happy Valentine's Day!" from anyone other than 1. Dave 2. a close friend 3. Outkast
