I loved that he cleaned up after himself before leaving an ice cream shop in Wapello, Iowa. He didn't have to. The event was over and the press had left. He is used to taking care of things himself and I think this is one of the qualities that makes Obama different from so many other political candidates I've encountered. Nov. 7, 2007.

My favorite local radio guy was telling how he met a guy who is the father of a secret service agent. That kid told his dad that all the Obamas - every generation he's with - always thank him for holding the door, and that most politicians don't.

We are going to see Barack Obama speak in Denver tomorrow. I will try to get a picture of me hugging him to post on the blog! hahahaha *WISH*
