so how was the weekend?
Way fun. Though I think we tired Mom and Dad out. We went non-stop, but got a lot done!
We went on a river/lake cruise, had drinks on the 96th floor of the Hancock, went shopping on Michigan Ave, ate Chicago dogs, deep dish pizza and steak, and went to the zoo. I'm sure I'm missing some things, too...
But, Dad was already talking about coming back!
That's a lot! Is that your typical weekend activity list? ;)
They said they really enjoyed themselves. When they got back they were a little whipped I think.
I got Dad a grinder filled with Webber Grill Chigago Steak Seasoning for Father's Day.
That itinerary sounds PERFECT! And yeah--I BET you tired them out!
Also, Steve--I thought you were talking about a sandwich for your dad, bc you're from out East and all, but sometime over the night I figured out what you meant! Awesome that Chicago has provided a whole new line of gifts for the 'rents!
